The NTF announces changes to the Board of Trustees and Advisory board. These include NTF founder Professor Leslie Findley retiring as Chairman after many years in the post, and the appointment of Kevin Harfoot as the new Chairman.
Professor Leslie Findley founded the NTF in 1992 and grew the Foundation into a renown charity within the neurological field.
Professor Findley said: “It has been an honour and pleasure to serve as Chairman of the Board of Trustees over the last twenty three years, in which I have seen the Foundation grow into a national voice for all those with tremor. I look forward to continuing as a Trustee and Clinical Adviser to the Foundation”.
Trustee and now Chairman, Kevin Harfoot said: “I have been a Trustee for the NTF for many years, and now I am delighted to be appointed Chairman of the Board of Trustees. These are exciting times for the NTF, and I look forward to developing the Foundation, raising awareness and building onto its digital focus.”
In addition, Lizzie Graham will be retiring as Trustee to work as a Communications Advisor for the NTF, Kitty Reilly has been appointed Trustee and Anjum Misbahuddin will be joining the NTF as a Clinical Advisor.
Lizzie Graham, said: “I have very much enjoyed my time as Trustee over the last 10-years, and I do hope my experience within the voluntary sector has been of help. I look forward to continuing supporting the NTF as a Communications Advisor.”
Kitty Reilly said: “I have been raising awareness on issues to do with essential tremor in children and young people for many years. I look forward to my new role, as Trustee, and developing the NTF.”
