Run the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2022
The National Tremor Foundation has now secured places for the Royal Parks Half Marathon taking place on Sunday 9 October 2022.
The spectacular 13.1-mile flat route goes through the capital’s world-famous sites; including four of London’s eight Royal Parks – Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens.
Funds raised by our 2022 Royal Parks runners will go towards providing advice and helping the National Tremor Foundation's tremor support groups. In 2021 we provided information and advice to almost one quarter of a million people with neurological tremor including essential tremor and orthostatic tremor.
Due to Covid most of our support groups are online and in 2021 the National Tremor Foundation ran over 30 online support groups. They are important to people with neurological tremor as they connect people who are often isolated and give them the courage to speak out about the condition and share coping tips.
This follows on from the success of Fred Jewitt, Andrew Johnson, Anne-Lise Christmas and Jo Brown who ran the Royal Parks Half Marathon in 2021 and collectively raised over £2400.
