Worthing Shakers enjoyed socially meeting up

15 Worthing Shakers met on the 28th November at Swallows Return, Worthing. Our group includes people with Essential Tremor, Orthostatic Tremor and Dystonia. Apologies from 4 unable to attend.                                                                                  

The venue reserves a semi private area for our meetups. Staff are supportive and look after us well, this all helps to make for a friendly atmosphere.

Our topics for discussion were varied and included the Essential Tremor Priority Partnership Final Survey, which some attendees had already taken part, others yet to fill it in.

Richard shared with us how he was travelling with a cricket tour to Australia and New Zealand for Christmas and New Year, we agreed this sounded very exciting and we look forward to hearing about it in the New Year.

The Beechband, a wellness device developed for Parkinsons, was discussed for our group to try for other disorders such as ET, OT and Dystonia. Hopefully I’ll have more information about this at the next meetup.
