Worthing Shakers February Meet-Up
Jackie Farrell who leads Worthing Shakers support group reflects on their February 2025 meetup.
Our first support group meetup of 2025 took place on 15th February at the Swallows Return, Goring. Fifteen members attended, including a new member, Richard. Apologies from three others who were unable to attend.
Lunch is optional. The restaurant staff are wonderful and very supportive of our group which helps make for a relaxed atmosphere.

We also welcomed a new addition to the group Annie and Bruce’s rescue dog Miss Minnie Mouse, there is a story behind the name!
Jackie had obtained assistive aids for the group
With money from an anonymous donation, Jackie had obtained assistive aids for the group, which were displayed for members to help themselves. The items on display included stainless-steel drinking straws, straw cleaners, pen grips and napkin clips, plus NTF March Essential Tremor Awareness month poster/flyers. Lots of goodies for the group to take away!
Happy Birthday Jackie!
It was Jackies Birthday weekend and to celebrate the occasion, the group were offered cakes including, for fun, a ‘Cecil’ caterpillar!
A wonderful afternoon with like minded people!
