Treasurer/trustee required - home basedlogo desktop

The National Tremor Foundation represents over 1 million people in the UK with tremor & has helped people affected by all types of tremor since it was formed in 1994.
The foundation now wishes to broaden its range of skills and experience and to this end is seeking to appoint an additional Trustee to the board in the role of treasurer. A background in finance/accountancy and Microsoft excel skills are essential.
Along with the statutory duties of a Trustee the role of Treasurer is to maintain an overview of the NTF financial viability and affairs as well as ensuring proper financial records and procedures are maintained. The successful candidate will help the board in formulating strategic plans to help achieve the aims and core objectives of the charity.
The Foundation can meet up to 2 or 3 times a year in central London. The position is unremunerated, with reasonable expenses associated with attending Trustee meetings being refunded. Although our offices are based near Romford in Essex, the work can be carried out at home.
