The Experimental Neurology Group at the University of Oxford is looking for volunteers with tremor due to Essential tremor or Parkinson’s disease for a study investigating whether electrical stimulation at the wrist can reduce tremor.

Stimulation is not painful or dangerous. The study takes a morning or afternoon to complete and takes place at the Charles Wolfson Clinical Research Facility in the West Wing of the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. The study is being led by Professor Peter Brown. It is hoped that the study will help pave the way for a new non-drug treatment for tremor.

If you would like further details about the study please email the group at bnduadmin@pharm.ox.ac.uk or contact Professor Brown directly on 01865 271866.
