Worthing Shakers met at Swallows Return

18 Worthing Shakers met on the 6^th February at Swallows Return, Worthing. Our group includes people with Essential Tremor, Orthostatic Tremor and Dystonia. Apologies from 4 unable to attend.

We discussed March Essential Tremor Awareness month. Vicky distributed NTF leaflets and posters amongst the group to take away and Swallows Return  kindly agreed to display some leaflets on their counter.                                                          

Richard shared with us his experience of the cricket tour to Australia and New Zealand over Christmas and New Year. We were astounded to hear of the flight to Dubaii which due to a storm meant the plane couldn’t land! It eventually had to divert to a different airport which then meant a long transfer. Richard enjoyed the trip despite the cricket results not all going England’s way!

We were delighted Megan could join us and introduce us to Ridley

I had some Beechbands for the group to take home to try for a six week trial. We look forward to hearing their experiences at the next meetup in April.

The staff look after us really well and reserve a large area for us to meet up as our group has grown.

Our next meetup will be Friday 24^th April at Swallows Return, 1 Titnore Ln, Worthing BN12 6PB at 12 midday. We are a friendly bunch and welcome new members 😊
