Online support groups events news for May 2020
2nd May we welcomed May with Mindfulness,
9th May Celebrating VE in Europe. A team quiz arranged by Jeff Kilner gave us the opportunity to try out for the first time Zooms breakout groups. Pleased to say this worked well and a feature to use again.
16th May Focused Ultrasound Surgery. Read more
23rd May As part of Mental Health Awareness week, our focus was on Coping tips for Wellbeing. A slideshow presentation which accompanied the talk can be found in videos.
30th May Five minutes of Fame. A chance for people to share an experience or hobby coping with tremors. We heard from Ryan Williams an actor and how he copes with his tremors using techniques learnt from acting school. Hannah Eaton a young lady from Scotland with a passion for wildlife photography who spoke & shared her beautiful photos. Also Colin Heath a model railway enthusiast shared his hobby of past 30 years. It was wonderful to hear how people with tremors cope and be an inspiration to others.
With the success of May, June events are promising to be equally varied.
Hope to see you online in June
