Sutton Shakers July Meet-Up
Jackie Farrell who leads Sutton Shakers support group reflects on their July meetup.
20 Sutton Shakers met on the 18th July for a special meetup with guest Rosie Frost from Logitech
Rosie is Head of Design for Inclusivity & Accessibility LogiNeuro: Neurodiversity ERG co-founder/ ADHD
Logitech are looking to develop computer mice/software for people with hand mobility issues. I have been working with Rosie for a couple of years discussing the challenges that people with ET have using computers. This led to arranging for Rosie to meet my Sutton Shakers!
Those in the group with hand tremors had the opportunity to test computer mice. Plus testing different packaging was very valuable too!

Everyone involved in the testing found the meeting really helpful and appreciated Rosie’s support and kindness, especially listening to the challenges the group had daily coping with Essential Tremor.
Quotes
“I found being part of the computer mouse discussion group most rewarding at the recent meeting of Sutton Shakers. Rosie Frost was very friendly and very keen to hear about how those of us with tremors struggle using a computer and it is so reassuring to think such a big company as Logitech is so invested in trying to develop something which will make it easier for us. I also found listening to how fellow tremor sufferers try and overcome their difficulties most interesting and intend to try and implement some of the tips they gave. I look forward to using the vertical mouse that Rosie gave me.
I would like to thank Jackie for inviting Rosie to our Sutton Shakers Meeting.”
