19 Sutton Shakers met on the 10th October 2025 at Holiday Inn, Sutton for a special meetup with guest Rosie Frost from Logitech.

Rosie is Head of Design for Inclusivity & Accessibility and this was Rosies second visit to Sutton Shakers.

Logitech are developing computer software for people with hand mobility issues. so at this meetup it was arranged to give people with ET, the opportunity to take part in a couple of tasks on a laptop, where data would be collected to measure the difficulties of using and controlling the mouse and cursor.

Everyone involved found the meeting helpful and appreciated Rosie’s support and kindness, especially listening to the challenges the group had daily of coping with Essential Tremor.

Our meetups are also great for sharing tips with others and social chat. Colin who attended, shared with me a tip he uses for cutting food when eating. This involves a different way of holding the knife and using a sawing action. I have put this into practice at home with success and will share my findings at the next Sutton Shakers meetup.

The hotel reserves the breakfast area for our meetups. Staff are supportive and look after us well, this all helps to make for a friendly atmosphere.
