The National Tremor Foundation would like to say a huge thank you to Alice Da Prato, who successfully raised an incredible £700 after completing a 60 mile walking challenge throughout February

ntf---galloway-hillsAlice's 60-mile walking challenge took her through the Galloway Hills, Scotland

Alice set herself the challenge to walk 60 miles in support of the Foundation after living with an involuntary head tremor for the past eight years. Motivated by her personal experience, Alice used the challenge not only to raise funds, but also to increase awareness and understanding of tremor conditions.

Sharing the story behind her fundraiser, Alice explained that living with tremor can be difficult and often misunderstood. Her determination to turn her experience into something positive inspired friends, family and supporters to donate generously throughout the month.

The funds raised will help the National Tremor Foundation continue providing information, support and advocacy for people living with all forms of tremor across the UK.

Speaking after completing the challenge, Alice said:

“I am over the moon to raise as much as £700 and I wish the Foundation all the very best for fundraising in the future!”

Walking 60 miles during February was a fantastic achievement and reflects the dedication and determination shown by so many of the Foundation’s supporters. Community fundraising efforts like Alice’s play a vital role in helping the charity continue its work supporting people affected by tremor.

Everyone at the National Tremor Foundation would like to thank Alice once again for her amazing support, generosity and determination.
