Throughout 2023 Insightec has continued to raise awareness of Essential Tremor through many different activities.

insightecThey organised a radio broadcast day during March ET Awareness Month when nearly 1 million listeners heard from NTF Chair Kitty Reilly, Coronation St actor (and now newly appointed NTF patron) Rob Mallard, and National Support Group Co-ordinator Jackie Farrell, about Essential Tremor and Focused Ultrasound across 6 different radio stations.  Essential Tremor also featured prominently in the printed and online media thanks to Insightec with close to a combined 50 Million reading Mary’s Story in the Daily Mirror, including reaching as far as Ireland with its sister publication the Irish Mirror, and also in SAGA magazine throughout the UK.

insightec2Other fantastic events included hosting an Essential Tremor Awareness Event in London where approximately 60 people came together at The Royal National Hotel to take part in the “Carousel of Chat”.  See the October Newsletter for the report on this great event!

As 2023 draws to a close, rest assured that Insightec will continue to support raising awareness of ET in 2024 and is already planning 3 key events, in Bristol on Friday 23rd February, Edinburgh on Thursday 14th March, and Glasgow on Tuesday 23rd April.  Watch this space for more details on these…
