20 Worthing Shakers met on the 24th April at Swallows Return, Worthing. Our group includes people with Essential Tremor, Orthostatic Tremor and Dystonia. Apologies from 5 unable to attend.

Various topics were discussed including the use of a head stabilser for cataract operations to keep a shaky head secure.   It was also mentioned about the challenges of ear wax removal with head tremor.                                                                           

 As well as discussing various topics related to tremors, the meeting also gave people the opportunity to make new friends and find common interests. Pam, who visited for the first time, found by talking to Mave, a regular attendee, that they both shared a mutual friend. How amazing is that as both Pam and Mave live many miles from each other and had never met previously!

Richard shared how on a recent cruise at the welcome drink; the gentleman next to him had Essential Tremor!

The staff look after us well, which all helps to make it a relaxing and friendly environment.
