The two-day event brought together healthcare professionals, specialists, and charities working in the field of neurology. While the NTF was only able to attend for one day, the time was well spent engaging with attendees and sharing information on the latest initiatives supporting those with neurological tremors.

Charities including Parkinson’s UK and Dystonia UK were also present, and hosting exhibition stands. Leading medical technology companies Boston Scientific and Abbott showcased their developments in DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation) treatments and devices.

As part of the NTF’s contribution, the James Lind Alliance Priority Setting Partnership survey was promoted to nurses and practitioners, helping to raise awareness and encourage participation in shaping the future of tremor research.

The NTF looks forward to continued collaboration with the DBSNA and the wider movement disorders community.
