The Experimental Neurology Group at the University of Oxford is looking for volunteers with tremor due to Essential tremor or Parkinson’s disease for a study investigating whether Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation can reduce tremor.

Stimulation is not painful or dangerous but is not suitable for those with a personal or family history of epilepsy. The study takes a morning or afternoon to complete and takes place at the Oxford Centre for Functional MRI of the Brain (FMRIB) Research Facility at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. The study is being led by Doctor Ashwini Oswal.

It is hoped that the study will help pave the way for a new non-drug treatment for tremor. If you would like further details about the study please email the group at This email address is being protected from spambots.
