West Sussex Meet-up Group in February
Jackie Farrell who leads the West Sussex Shakers reflects on their February meetup.
On Saturday 25th February, West Sussex Tremor group held their first meeting of the year with 11 attendees.
We met at the Roundstone Pub, East Preston, Littlehampton, West Sussex for a lunchtime meetup. This proved a very popular venue with the group including six new members.
Most of us took the opportunity to have lunch, while others had popped in for a chat, either way it was a great way to meet socially.
During lunch we shared experiences of living with tremors. Also discussed was March Essential Tremor Awareness Month 2023 with suggestions of how to raise awareness of Essential Tremor and the benefits of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower lanyard.
We all appreciated the staff at the Roundstone Pub for looking after us really well and making us all feel welcome.

The weekend didn’t end at the meetup, afterwards hubby and I stayed Saturday night at the Beachcroft Hotel and Suites, Bognor. Andre, the front of house manager, agreed to share and display the NTF NETA month 2023 posters flyers around the hotel, including in an outside frame by the beach.
