NTF Chair Kitty Reilly who will be taking on The National Three Peaks Challenge shares her story.
As many of you know 2024 was a complete write-off for me after my little incident on the decking and snapping my humerus in two! It stopped me from doing lots of things, including what I love doing the most, helping others. Whilst not fully recovered I'm sick of letting it stop me doing what's important, so here I am back challenging myself, this time The National Three Peaks Challenge.
On June 13th-15th I will be attempting The National Three Peaks Challenge, trekking Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in 24 hours. I will be raising funds and awareness for a charity very close to my heart and one where I find myself the
Chair of the Board of Trustees – the National Tremor Foundation. This is another personal mission as my boy lives with
Essential Tremor, as do over one million people in the UK.
I wont be on my own doing this challenge, I have the absolute privilege of taking the experience on with some amazing humans who I trekked Kilimanjaro with, many of them raising funds for their own personal causes.
I know times are difficult and I am self funding this challenge, however if you would like to make a donation your support would really help the NTF continue doing its incredible work in supporting people of all ages with all kinds of neurological tremors. Alternatively if you are able to share this and any future posts to raise awareness of the NTF and neurological tremors that would be equally as valuable.
Always thankful for your support!
We would like to wish Kitty good luck for the challenge.
