Raising awareness at the Royal College of General Practitioners Conference
The National Tremor Foundation (NTF) successfully raised awareness of neurological tremors at the 2024 Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) Conference on 3rd and 4th October in Liverpool.
The prestigious event gathered over 1,900 healthcare professionals from across the UK, offering a prime platform for NTF to spotlight the importance of tremor disorders, which affect around one million people in the UK.
“We were thrilled to participate in this year’s RCGP Conference," said Kitty Reilly, Chair of the NTF. "Raising awareness of neurological tremors amongst healthcare professionals is crucial for supporting the recognition of these conditions, ultimately guiding individuals onto the appropriate clinical pathways for diagnosis."
The NTF would like to thank Boston Scientific and Insightec, who sponsored their attendance. A special thank you to James Blann (Insightec), Tatjana Lalic and Kate Lynch (Boston Scientific), Mr. Jibril Farah (Neurosurgeon), and Dr. Antonella Macerollo (Neurologist).
The NTF looks forward to further engaging with healthcare professionals to raise awareness of neurological tremors.
