On behalf of the National Tremor Foundation, we want to express our gratitude for your support in 2023! Your support to us and each other throughout the year has been amazing.

A sincere thank you to NTF Honorary President Lord Julian Fellowes, who has essential tremor, for his continued support. His encouragement and inspiration have led many people to open up about essential tremor through television and media, bringing the spotlight to the disorder and the NTF.

We would like to thank our new Patron for Young People, Coronation Street actor Rob Mallard, who has essential tremor. We appreciate all his help in raising awareness of Essential Tremor. His support has been amazing!

We extend our gratitude to everyone who came and helped organise our fantastic Essential Tremor Awareness Day in London. Huge credit should be given to Support Groups Co-ordinator Jackie Farrell, who worked tirelessly with James Blann of Insightec in the planning and preparation.

A special thank you to our Essential Tremor Awareness Day London speakers:

  • Professor Ludvic Zrinzo Head of the UCL Functional Neurosurgery Unit and Consultant Neurosurgeon at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.
  • Karen Hull, Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist
  • Jackie Farrell who gave a presentation on mindfulness
  • Oscar Reaney who gave inspirational talk on living with Essential Tremor as a young adult.

Additionally, we extend our thanks to all the open day volunteers who made the day special.

Thanks to everyone who got involved and raised awareness of essential tremor for National Essential Tremor Awareness (NETA) month in March - we look forward to NETA month 2024.

In addition, thanks go to our volunteers, support group members, the young adults group, and the NTF Trustees who have supported us throughout the year.

We are especially grateful to our individual donors who raised over £3000; your generosity has helped us support people with neurological tremor.

If you would like to help us make a difference in improving the lives of others in 2023, there is still time. Just go to www.tremor.org.uk/donate.

Finally, The National Tremor Foundation would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy Healthy New Year! We look forward to seeing you in 2024.

With warm wishes,

The NTF
