This year the National Tremor Foundation (NTF) is celebrating three decades of supporting people with neurological tremors. Established in 1994 the NTF provides help, support and advice to all those living with all forms of tremor irrespective of age.

Over the past 30 years, the NTF has worked to create a community amongst those affected by neurological tremors, offering support groups, online and face-to-face events and information on neurological tremors. In addition, the NTF has been instrumental in promoting research and influencing policy changes that benefit individuals with neurological tremors.

In commemoration of this milestone, the NTF is planning a series of events throughout the year to honour the occasion.

NTF Founder Professor Leslie Findley said: “Today we celebrate 30 years of the NTF and reflect on its journey from small beginnings to its current status as a nationally recognised medical charity.  It has continued to follow the original precepts of providing information, support, education and to fund research.  I look forward to seeing the Foundation continue to grow and nurture the interests of all those with tremor disorders.

NTF Chair Kitty Reilly said: "The 30th anniversary of the National Tremor Foundation is a testament of our shared commitment to making a difference to the lives of those affected by neurological tremors. Our focus and determination to help support and advise those impacted by neurological tremor whatever their age is as strong as ever. Here is to the next 30 years! ".

As the NTF reaches its 30th year, the Foundation welcomes everyone to join in celebrating our anniversary.
